APC Presidential Campaign Media Directorate: A combination of brains, capacity and professionals

Who says one cannot judge a book by it cover? A good book must first capture and attract the attention of prospective reader. The cover page of a good book must reflect what the reader should expect. It must appeal to the subconsciousness of the reader on it rich content thus, arousing the urge of the reader to open and devour chapter by chapter.
I found the above narrative as the best caption to describe and justify the composition of APC Presidential Campaign Media Directorate released yesterday.
First of it kind in a presidential campaign is the tripodal arrangement which gives a deadly combo to the opposition parties. While Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima camp and the APC are working round the clock towards victory in the next year’s presidential election, a candidate is busy enjoying and holidaying from one country to another and his spokesperson twitting Dubai as country home. I wonder how a presidential candidate whose nationality has been questioned many time and also subjected to judicial clarification could pick a spokesperson who believes Dubai is his principal’s country home. What a terrible, devastating and a wrong way to start.
Also, another candidate is currently busy going from one church to another playing religious politics for sympathy in a country that is in urgent need of solution provider. His constitent lies as put him on the negative side of the people hoping he can fool people all the time. It is high time people grew up and understand that politics beyond sentiments and emotions.
After a serious preparation, planning and implementation of campaign strategies by the Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima’s camp and the APC, other parties would run to the judiciary as usual to seek for the upturn of the victory of APC in the presidential election and in the end, label the judiciary as working for the ruling party when they failed. They have forgotten the principle of five Ps which says that proper planning prevents poor performance.
Bayo Onanuga; a veteran journalist, Managing Director of The News Magazine/PM News and former Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria would serve as Director of Media and Publicity.
Dele Alake; also a journalist, activist and technocrat recognised as one of the heroes of democracy to serve as Director of Strategic Communication. Dele Alake served as communication advisor and confidant to Chief M.K.O. Abiola in the June 12, 1993 presidential election. He also served in the same capacity as Director of Strategic Communication in the Buhari campaign between 2014 and 2015.
Festus Keyamo; a constitutional lawyer (SAN), human rights activist and columnist to serve as the spokesman of the campaign as Director of Public Affairs.
Who can fault the intellectual competences and professionalism of the three directors of the APC presidential media campaign team? You can’t have a team as perfect as this and not expect a landslide victory in the presidential election.
As we look forward to the 2023 presidential election, I foresee a landslide victory for Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima and the APC. Success is always the reward for hardwork.
