Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has won the Lagos All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship Primary Election with 1170 Votes to defeat the other two contestants, Abdul-Ahmed Mustapha and Wale Oluwo, reports Citizen Magazine.

In the results declared, 12 votes were voided.

The Chairman of the 5-Man electoral committee, Alhaji Adamu Yuguda reacted to news in some sections of the media that the two other aspirants, Mustapha and Oluwo were denied entry into the venue of the Primarily election, Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos

He said: “We are aware that three aspirants bought forms for Lagos state. Three accredited for the screening. One was cleared, and two were not cleared.

“So, as we speak, the other two aspirants have not been cleared by the screening committee and by the appeal committee.

“We are only attending to those that have been cleared, the aspirant that has been cleared by the two committees.”
