One of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s foremost loyalists, Yeye Olukemi Nelson, a very prominent APC Leader in Lagos State, from Ikeja Local Government and a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC, Lagos State, has thrown her weight behind the prayer rally organised for the ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is coming up today, 12th December, 2022, at the National Leader’s Constituency, Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Asiwaju Tinubu, a former Lagos State Governor and National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had on Monday formally declared his intention to run for the country’s Presidency in 2023 after months of speculation.

According to her, “This prayer initiative is laudable, commendable and it is the right step in a good direction because whatever will succeed will first of all start with God. God’s guidance, support, direction and help is crucial in this journey to Aso Rock in 2023”.

“I am throwing my weight behind this programme and the programme has my full support.”

“Let me delve a little into the main matter, which is the most discussed topic in Nigeria as at today. I want to categorically state that Asiwaju Tinubu is eminently qualified to be the next President of the largest black nation in the world, which is also referred to as the giant of Africa and popularly called Nigeria.”

“Asiwaju Tinubu has paid his price and he has also paid his dues from 1992/1993 (HOPE ’93) when the election was squarely won by the late Bashorun MKO Abiola but was annulled by the erstwhile Military President, IBB.”

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu later went on to fight to a stand still the Military rule then through NADECO. He was one of the leaders of NADECO, who sacrificed his resources and comfort by going on exile and fought from exile. He also sponsored the media then to ensure that democratic rule is returned to Nigeria.”

“The struggle paid off and Nigeria returned to democratic rule and got rescued from the Military in 1999.”

“He became the Governor of Lagos State, where he transformed the state from nothing to abundance.
I was privileged to be one of the Commissioners, who worked with Asiwaju Tinubu from 1999-2003 and I can remember vividly how he passionately turned around the fortunes of the state from a meagre IGR to an enviable amount, which his successors have also built on.”

“Asiwaju Tinubu turned around all the sectors of the State Government, built lasting infrastructures, created agencies and ministries and brought about great initiatives and developments that other states and even nations have come to copy from Lagos State.”

“Asiwaju Tinubu took Lagos to become not just the commercial nerve center of Nigeria but one of the largest economies in Africa.”

“All the successes Lagos have recorded in all areas are traceable to the great foundations he laid while he held sway as the Governor of Lagos State and today we are all proud of him and the state.”

“To cap it all, Asiwaju Tinubu is a builder of men; this is a fact no one can argue because the evidences are all over Nigeria and even all over the world.”
