Ordinarily testing the Microphone is a ritual that is done before the main MC of an event begins his performance at a show which could be a social wake keep, marriage or other merriment activities.

When growing up it was usually in this tradition…Testing the Microphone 123… after blowing some breeze into the Mic the MC begins again by saying testing the microphone 123…

Then he would go further to say… car number La 321 MBP…he would repeat this car number again and again at the same time shouting testing the microphone.

The ideal of all these is to test the production of the mic for the show ahead and also to let the audience get warmed up for the event onwards.

Early comers usually get to see the ritual in every single event that has a stage performance. Most times the main MC may not even be the one to test the Mic.

As we approach the 2023 Presidential election one man whose name keeps reverberating on every lip is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. For over a year now his movement has been watched keenly by every single electoral observer.

From his private trips to the UK and his movements across the federation, it is always Tinubu and Tinubu.

Since Tinubu made the disclosure of his intent to President Buhari in succeeding him it has been from one consultation to the other, the Jagaban seems to have started from home in line with the adage that “Charity Begins From Home.”

Tinubu has been visiting prominent monarchs in the South-West states seeking their spiritual blessings for the great journey ahead.

In what can typically be described as testing the Microphone Tinubu is already causing upheavals in the polity by the open endorsement of these renowned monarchs.

It might interest you to know that Royal Fathers are always PICKY when it comes to making statements as regards visitations by political aspirants.

In this case, the monarchs have declared openly their blessings and support for the Jagaban. With the kind of words used by these Traditional rulers, it is evident that the Jagaban may have no rivals from the Southwest.

Here are a few remarks from the Royal Fathers and get to understand why we say Tinubu is sending shock waves across, this is not yet a campaign but just mere consultations and the endorsements have been mind-blowing.

Isn’t it funny that Tinubu’s likely opposition adherents are all waiting for the Jagaban to go on consultations and then they begin their analysis of what and what went down or did not go down?

Why can’t they project and worry about the pace of consultation of their preferred choice aspirants? Or are they not in the race too and consulting?

Indeed failure starts from “trying to control what is uncontrollable” Tinubu is a movement a force whose time has come, spending all your resources and energy trying to paint the Jagaban in bad light would consume you and your PRINCIPAL.

Seek the things that would give your choice candidate for the presidency an edge and diligently work towards achieving it.

Tinubu is way on another level beyond your control, once you realise this then happiness would forever be your portion.
