Tinubu, Otedola, KSA, Davido Headline YLF 2021 Awards

The All Progressives Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the business mogul, Mr. Femi Otedola, King Sunny Ade, Mr. Femi Falana and the hip-hop maestro, Daivid Adeleke (Davido) are leading 38 other prominent Yoruba leaders being honoured by the Yoruba Leaders Forum with different awards.
The National leader of the All Progressive Party and a presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu bagged YLF’s Lifetime Achievement in Politics and leadership.
In a press release signed by George Olufemi Ogunjimi and Pade Olapoju, the Co-Ordinator and Communications Director of the Yoruba Leaders’ Forum, Juju music grandfather, King Sunny Ade also was honoured with the Lifetime achievement in music and entertainment.
As Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ogun State governor, Mr. Dapo Abiodun and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and Lagos State deputy governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat were rewarded for good governance, Mr. Femi Otedola was awarded an award for corporate good governance.
Also honoured were the Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, the OPC leader and Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Chief Gani Adams, former Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and the former Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and former Osun State governor, Chief Bisi Akande.
In the Music Category, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Yinka Aiyefele and Davido were rewarded for distinguishing themselves in their brands of music.
The Law Category has Mr. Femi Falana, Mr. Supo Ojo while Mrs. Funke Akindele-Bello got the award in the Entertainment Category.
Chief Dele Momodu and Mr. Lekan Ogunbanwo were awarded in the field of journalism and broadcasting respectively.
Other recipients include Dr. Funke Opeke, Chief Michael Ayo Otedola Jnr, Mrs. Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, Dr. Temitayo Ogunmefun and Mrs. Biodun Stephen Oladigbo.
Also on the awardees list are Mother Esther Ajayi, Prof Olusegun Ogunjimi, Mrs. Toyin Folashade Sanni, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Princess Yemisi Banjoko Ogunyemi, Pastor Peter Oyebobola, Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the UK.Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, Dr Olabisi Deji-Folutile, Princess Folaji Fasanya-Omoyeni, Chief Samson Oshitola, Ms Folake Mustapha and Yeye Oge Olushola Musa.
The YLF also awarded the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Most Venerable Evangelist Nunayon, Most Venerable Evangelist Amos Fatusin, Most Venerable Evangelist Wale Onafuye, Most Venerable Evangelist John Maforikan.
Mr. Michael Oke Fatuase, a UK based business mogul and Mrs. Olukemi Olumide-Ojo, an Ekiti State governorship hopeful also made the list of the Distinguished Personalities of the Year.
